What does it claim to provide?
The official Tide website says that PurClean is the first “bio-based detergent with the cleaning power of Tide.” Among its ingredients 65% come from bio-based sources (though I recommend scrolling down to the ingredients list on this page to see what that means). It is a product produced in a facility that doesn’t send any waste to landfills and it is 100% wind powered.

I *REALLY* like the information you have shared, because I develop severe skin reactions if I use only one brand of soap/shampoo/clothes washing detergent/ *whatever*! So variety is not only ‘the spice of life’ — it is *Essential* for a person with allergies. I *Must* rotate products I use, so knowing about *healthy* alternatives to the ‘same old same old’ detergent is very helpful. THANK YOU — and Please keep posting! 🙂
